Founded in 2009, KBEC Group, Inc., pronounced kay-bec, offers a wide range of educational, work readiness training, and social services, specializing in comprehensive services for youth and adults with intellectual, cognitive, learning, and/or emotional disabilities. Specifically, KBEC provides community support for inclusive adaptive living skill development, wrap-around social services, and community residential living to youth, families, schools, and school districts with a focus on person-centered thinking and planning.

Kimberly A. Hood-Berry
Executive Director and Founder of KBEC
Kimberly A. Hood-Berry, Executive Director and Founder of KBEC, has more than 20 years of experience in educational administration and program development with more than 17 years of experience implementing community living supports. Mrs. Berry served 10 years with District of Columbia Public Schools serving as the Deputy Chief of Academic Support Programs within the Office of Teaching and Learning for the (DCPS).
