KBEC’s programs provide services that encourage differently abled adults to lead healthy, safe, and satisfying self-directed lives. According to the department of disability services, supported living services "are a blended service that cover habilitation, personal care, nursing, and other residential supports." Expanding on this description, KBEC’s supported living services aim to foster an environment that empowers the people we serve to make their residences a home. In addition to residential services, KBEC provides day services that focus on developing our supported persons' skills while also providing opportunities for them to participate in and contribute to their community in ways that are consistent with their interests.
